So I’m doing a post on 5-minute makeup and the makeup I wear every day. Of course while I was shooting the video, I completely forgot I was trying to keep it to 5 minutes and it ended up being 7 minutes long. But you’ll see, that’s because I chat for a bit about each product and I’m confident in telling you guys that you could use all of the products I feature in 5 minutes if you aren’t talking to your readers on a video about each item 😉 Enjoy!
And please be sure to visit what my other blogger friends are using in their 5-minute makeup routine.
Here are the products I featured in the above video – makeup products I love:
Neutrogena’s Triple Age Repair Moisturizer
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Spot Remover
Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation
Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous Foundation
Tarte Maracuja C-Brigher Eye Treatment
Nars Multiple Purpose Stick – Orgasm
Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette (my favorite color is Half-Baked)
Tarte’s Lights Camera Lashes Mascara
Neutrogena Moisture Stick – Soft Raspberry
Bobbi Brown Lipstick – Moonlight Rose (This one has been discontinued so there is no linking to it – sorry!)
Ever curious about how other women are doing it? Check out these other 5 minute makeup routines:
Jodi from Mom’s Favorite Stuff, Nicole from Momtrends, Kate from The Shopping Mama, Whitney from Mommies With Style, Danielle from Extraordinary Mommy, Melissa from Married My Sugar Daddy, Jo-Lynne from Musings of a Housewife, and Laura from Hollywood Housewife.
Thanks for the video Whitney! It was super informative. I’ve been using the Urban Decay lipsticks and I’m obsessed with them! They’re so smooth and the colors are so nice. Have you heard of/ tried Vain Pursuits by the way? I saw a Youtube video about it and it’s supposed to be a personalized skincare service where they send you moisturizers based on your skin profile. I’m looking for a new skincare routine and debating whether to give that a shot or just stick to a Neutrogena line.
Hey Morgan – thanks for commenting! I haven’t heard of Vain Pursuits. I love the idea though – sounds like a Stitch Fix but for makeup. That would be really cool. I’ll have to check them out.
Thanks for the reply Whitney! After reading a few more blog posts on it I’m quite sold so I just signed up. Hopefully it’ll work out for my sensitive skin 🙂
