Image and video hosting by TinyPic I’m entering the 2nd trimester of my third pregnancy. While this pregnancy was a surprise, this baby will be coming mid-August and I’m getting really excited. I did pregnancy product reviews for Mommies With Style in 2007, when I was pregnant with my now 2 year old, Allegra. This is me on the left (hint, I’m the shorter one). The amazing Nicole Felicano of Momtrends interviewed me recently for her Great Expectations Quiz Series — click here to read my answers!

These are some of the products that I loved during my last pregnancy & the first new product I’m enjoying.

Bella Bands: I’m still too small for maternity clothes, but my tummy is starting to stick out a little bit. I’ve turned to the fabulous Bella Bands – which I absolutely lived in during my second pregnancy.  I can throw them under a t-shirt and not have to worry about my tummy becoming uncovered. My favorite was the black lace Bella Band. Click here to read my original review: Bella Bands. They’ve also got some new products, part of their Essentials Collection – the Everyday Cami, a Ruched Tank, Belly Leggings, and an Everyday Pant, which our writer, Julie, reviewed during her pregnancy last year. Bumpil On the Way Maternity Pillow: I’ve been using Bumpil On the Way Pillow as a back support on my bed (for over the last two years).  I’m glad I will have it to support my legs as I get more pregnant– this wonderful pillow stopped my leg cramps during my second pregnancy.  After you have the baby, you can use the Bumpil as a nursing pillow and when the baby is a little bigger, it unzips and you can make it into an infant play area (just slide the inside two pillows into place (they attach to the border with velcro). Genius! Click here to read my original review.

2 Chix: When my tummy started sticking out a little bit, I unpacked my What’s Kicking Tee ($38) from 2 Chix. I wear the voluptuous size and loved the excellent fit of this tee. Click here to read my original review.

And now for something new —

Be Nice Prenatal Vitamin Drink Mix: Be Nice Prenatal Vitamin Drink Mix is something I did not have in my last pregnancy. The company sent me some samples two months ago, as a “Happy Pregnancy” gesture and I loved this drink mix, packed with folic acid, B-complex vitamins and minerals, and DHA. It comes in two delicious, naturally sweetened flavors – Berrylicious and Lemonade. I recommend adding to very cold water or adding ice to your water bottle. Yum!

As I get further along in my pregnancy I will discuss other pregnancy products that were terrific for me last time, new products, how to pack a hospital bag and must-have baby items.

All the samples mentioned from this review, with the exception of Be Nice Prenatal, were received back in 2007.
