Labor Day Weekend: The last chance to play this summer. And with all the staycations and roadtrips planned, we're hearing of a lot less stress over plane trips, and more stress over times in the car. We recently sampled a few Audio Books from MacMillan Young Listeners, which are all packaged with a full-sized copy of the illustrated book and … [Read more...]

Wow. One month old. How did that happen? She's growing and changing keeping all of us on our toes. No surprise, she's our little princess and we're falling to her every need. Hats off to Diapers.com for making my life so much easier. There's nothing as nice as ordering diapers and finding them at your doorstep before 7 am the next morning. I … [Read more...]

We received our Kindergartner's bus schedule yesterday. Sending him to Kindergarten doesn't bother me. The bus isn't worrying me. What terrifies me is that I'm going to have to get 3 kids and me dressed, packed, ready and fed (including one of them breastfed) all before a time we're used to. And while I'd love to feed everyone a 5-course meal with … [Read more...]

I'm so excited to introduce (I think for the first time?) MWS readers to a company that is quickly working its way up my favorites list: Bumbleride. Their collection of strollers embodies simplicity, sophistication and style while meeting the needs of both mom and baby. I recently had the chance to test-stroll the beautiful Bumbleride Flyer. In … [Read more...]

Continuing in our tradition of touring the state of Pennsylvania this summer, my kids, my mom and I got to spend 3 days, 2 nights in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania, which is North of Philadelphia and a short drive from New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia. The Lehigh Valley encompasses three main areas, including Bethlehem, Easton, and … [Read more...]

As much as I love to support small designers, I can't always afford to purchase more than a few piece here and there so, like most parents, the majority of my child's wardrobe comes from Old Navy, H&M, Target and online sample sales. I was recently invited to a kids' fall fashion preview at Old Navy and treated to a $200 gift card to acquaint … [Read more...]

Babyhood is going way too quick and she's looking like a big kid (almost). Someone slow time down!! She's a cuddler. Wants to be carried all afternoon. Problem? Not really when there are so many options for wearing my baby. Right now I'm wearing her in a MetroWrap by MetroMamma which I received as a sample. The MetroWrap is a really long, … [Read more...]

Weight Watchers Second Annual Lose for Good Campaign starts August 30 and goes to October 17. For every pound members lose, Weight Watchers will donate up to $1 million dollars to Share Our Strength and Action Against Hunger. I was honored to be asked by Weight Watchers to help promote awareness about this worthwhile campaign, which empowers Weight … [Read more...]

Around this house, swaddling is all the rage (she's sleeping through the night and I think a lot of that has to do with swaddling.) But not all babies like to be swaddled. Some, in fact, kick out of it right away needing access to hands, feet and a little freedom. For parents of unswaddled babies, there's now a product to "bag" your babies and keep … [Read more...]
