Packaging says a lot when you're baby gifting. So does quality and style. When you're looking for all this in a small baby gift, consider Maclaren's beginning Range. I know! I was pretty surprised to realize that Maclaren, reknowned for its buggies/strollers and accessories, had moved into bath products. I was sent samples of beginning bath … [Read more...]

Little has yet to walk, yet to even crawl, but when her first pair of Smaller baby shoes arrived, she reached a major milestone, for her shoe-loving mom: she wore shoes. Sure, they were off within 5 minutes, but 5 minutes was enough time for me to coo over their cuteness. Smaller shoes, though, are much more than cute. Produced by See Kai Run, … [Read more...]

Accessories. They make the outfit. One of my favorites - the belt. Worn properly it finishes your outfit. It is a quick way to update or punch up an outfit. As an added bonus, the right one can really help hide that extra winter bulge. And there are so many options from style, to color, to material, to embellishments, to ways to wear … [Read more...]

I've been a fan of NUK since my first child was a baby, 4 years ago. He loved their orthodontic pacifiers -- and would only use them. They've been updated for 2010 and are now called GeniusTM pacifier (around $4.50 -$4.99 ). Designed by orthodontists, they're BPA-free and go up to size 3 (which is for 18 months plus). My Facebook status this weekend read: About to watch Motherhood. Will be interesting to see how Hollywood depicts my life in a movie. Little did I know just how much of my life I was about to see. Uma Thurman is Eliza, a mom to 2 kids, a dog, and, at times, her sometimes scatterbrained husband, played by Anthony Edwards, in Greenwhich Village. … [Read more...]

After my vacuum died recently, my research led me to BISSELL's PROlite® MultiCyclonic Bagless Upright Vacuum ($199).  My requirements were that it had to be on the lighter-weight side (I'm pregnant and trying not to lift heavy things), it had to be bagless (who wants to deal with those yucky dirty vacuum bags), and it had to have a detachable hose … [Read more...]

My time at the Toy Fair in NYC was kicked off by Disney-Pixar's Toy Story 3 Event, showcasing the more than 250 new Toy Story 3 Toys. The newest Toy Story movie will be released on June 18. In the film, Andy is now 18 and going off to college. His parents donate his toys to the Sunnyside Day Care Center -- which looks terrific.... at first. … [Read more...]
