I love HomeAway. In fact, I had to stop from searching on their website for a beach house for us for a vacation this summer to bring you this post with news of this incredible, dreamy contest they are hosting right now.
I’ll tell you more about HomeAway in a bit but I gotta share about this fantastic contest first.

HomeAway is teaming up with Disney to celebrate Beauty and the Beast by giving one lucky winner and 20 of his or her chosen guests an unprecedented #HomeAwayCastle stay experience at Duns Castle in Scotland this summer.
FOR REAL. I can’t even imagine the excitement for the person who wins this and gets to invite 20 people (!!!!) along with them on this awesome adventure. Talk about a dream come true.
The winner receives a five-night stay in a 14th century castle located in Duns, Scotland and ALL travel arrangements for the winner and his or her guests.

I studied abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland so I can tell you that staying in a castle in the rolling hills of Scotland would be a once in a lifetime experience.
The winner and their group will get the entire castle (all 1,200 acres of it) to themselves and will get to enjoy activities like archery and falconry! Channel your inner Merida for some of that archery and then be a princess like Belle in your castle by evening. It’s all too much! What a contest.

So about HomeAway. You guys know them, know? They’re an international vacation rental service – they have more than 2 million unique places to stay available in 190 countries worldwide. We’re actually using them to visit the Jersey shore this summer. Owners list their properties and HomeAway is the middle man that connects visitors to all of the rentals available.
Their schtick is that it’s “HomeAway from it All,” meaning you’re getting that nice home experience even when you’re away from home. Check them out for your next vacation! I find it’s often more affordable to use them than an official rental agency too because less fees!
