A gorgeous day in Philly, 150 Mom bloggers & some amazing brands – what more could a girl want out of a social media party?
My head’s still spinning from everything that goes along with planning an event and I’m still in cloud nine about how great Mom Mixer was last weekend. Today, I thought I’d bring you some more photos and a bit about each brand and what they were showcasing for spring.
Lands’ End was our title sponsor and they had some trendy and fun options for the spring and summer in swimwear this year! I have a more detailed post coming but I just love how they really have something for everyone. LandsEnd.com knows that every woman has a different body shape so they offer extensive options and there’s a fit for everyone! Visit Land’s End and use coupon code: MOMMIXER Pin: 3565 to receive 25% off your order plus free shipping!
Koru is a creamery style yoghurt that’s new on the market this year! So far they are only on the East coast but they are coming soon to the entire nation and you guys will love it. I had the chance to taste some Koru earlier this month and Cole and I are now obsessed. Koru was at our Mom Mixer sampling yoghurts to the Moms and they were a HUGE hit! Happy to report to the locals that you can find them at Acme – give it a try, you won’t be sorry! It’s a nice change from the tartness of Greek yogurt.
Lee Jeans came and fitted every Mom who attended with a new pair of jeans. How sweet is that?!?! Hot trends this season are colors and prints. Check me out trying out my new Ting Tang colored pants from Lee – aren’t they an awesome color?! Love the variety AND AFFORDABILITY that the Lee Jeans brand offers! More coming soon, including a fun Twitter party where we’re giving away more pairs of jeans & pants! {I reviewed Lee Jeans in the summer of 2012 – check out what I had to say then too!} Use coupon code MIXER10 to receive 10% off your order at LeeJeans.com.
Here’s Colleen and I in front of the QVC sign. Not sure what I’m shouting here but thought it was a funny pict ‘cuz I’m pretty much always shouting something.
QVC and Send the Trend’s STTyle Bar was a huge hit as all of the Moms were fitted with a fun accessory of some sort to take home – like a piece of jewelry or a scarf. Here I am showing off my own QVC Judith Ripka watch next to the bowl of other Judith Ripka watches they had at the QVC booth – fun!
McDonald’s fresh salad products in the wraps and they were really good! Plus there’s options and flavors for everyone. Here’s Nate trying out the Crispy Chicken Wrap. I opted for the Grilled Chicken Chili wrap – only 350 calories for the whole thing, and you know what, I couldn’t even finish it all – it was so hearty! Find out more about the new Premium McWrap on McDonalds.com.
Alex’s Lemonade Stand was our charity booth. Alex was local to Philly and it’s an organization devoted to supporting the fight against childhood cancer. Nate just loved visiting the booth and wants to set up his own Alex’s Lemonade Stand to donate the money soon! I’ll post picts when we do!
Johnson’s Baby Cares booth had everyone making Care cards to send to a loved Mom in their life. J&J ended up donating $500 to Save the Children thanks to all of the cards our Moms (and some of the kids – pictured here is my youngest son and my two nieces!) made during our event! Such a feel good feeling to know that the power of social media can help in such a way!
Lastly Clean & Clear and Neutrogena had our guests covered with some great skincare products for the summer and beyond!
More soon!
Nice! You can’t beat that free jeans swag, I got some at Getting Gorgeous last year. It looks like a wonderful time, and it’s so nice to see great causes there too!
Thanks for the great review. I was supposed to go but was unable to make it. Reading your review helped me to feel like I was there. Those Lee jeans look great!
