I get a lot of shoe questions and one that I’m asked frequently: My baby has really wide feet. Which baby shoes are best for him? always gets the same answer. Bobux.
So, when I heard that Bobux was coming out with rubber soled shoes, I knew they had to be checked out.
The new I-Walk shoes by Bobux have a flexible rubber sole, a soft leather lining and the same soft outer that’s featured on their baby shoes. There’s also a cushioned insole for extra comfort. All the shoes (except for those adorable boots which pull on) close with a strip of velcro–perfect for the ever-changing ankle width, as well as the “I want to do it by myself” two-year-olds. (yeah, I have one of those.)
As for sizing, I’d order a size down from your child’s usual size. Remember that these are the shoes that I love to recommend for kids with wide feet. Wes usually wears a size 8 or 9, but the size 8 Bobux sandals, which he asks to wear every morning are still a tiny bit too big for him.
Available in classic sandals, atheletic style (like those featured here), Mary Janes and Cowboy Boots, Bobux’ latest can be year round classics.
Also available are the new I-Walk Jrs, whose soles are partnered–part rubber, part leather. The hightops are irresistible.

  1. These are adorable!

  2. Hi there. I am also interested at shoes that fits perfectly for the flat-footed. My son’s one, so as his Daddy. 🙂

  3. I’ve got the opposite problem, my son has narrow feet and his shoes are always falling off. We’ve got See Kai Run and Pediped shoes. Do you have any suggestions for narrower shoes?
