Believe it or not, summer can be stressful. Working in the King of Prussia mall nearly 40 hours a week can really test your temper. On top of that, the constant pressure to be in your best bikini bod shape really pays a toll physically and mentally.

If you’re anything like me, relaxing doesn’t come easy. I, with help from society, have taught myself to organize, plan, and work every day of my week. But, recently that just hasn’t been fulfilling for me.So to break away from my everyday routine I reached out to a friend and had an amazing girl’s mourning filled with yoga, relaxation, and lattes.

If you’re always on the go like me, yoga is a time for yourself. It helps center your thoughts and muscles. Take an hour out of your week to try a class. I have been taking classes at Yoga Life Institute and the people there are just wonderful.

But don’t end your “you” time there. Continue your relaxation with a healthy and nutritious breakfast. My favorite place right now is Le Pain Quotidien, a cozy and cute french breakfast and brunch place. They have great service and food!To end your relaxation, try one of their amazing coffees to boost your energy before heading back to society’s fast pace routine.

It’s so important to take care of yourself before you can take care of anyone or anything else! Live a healthy lifestyle and know its okay to take some time out your crazy week for yourself.
