Hey friends, I hope you are all doing well during these crazy times we are living in. I know I’ve fallen off the blogging wagon over the last couple of years but I’m hoping that will be changing again soon. Being home has been interesting and we’re all learning how to navigate our new normal.

I haven’t been reading as much as I thought I would in quarantine but that seems to be changing this week too as I’ve started picking up my Kindle again. I saw on Twitter that one of my fav books from this year is on sale right now for $3.99. It’s called As Bright as Heaven and it’s written by Susan Meissner. It’s a bit ironic that it’s all about the Spanish flu in 1918. I read the book in January before COVID-19 was anything we were worrying too much about and loved it. My fav books these days seem to be historical fiction that teach me about a little piece of history that I wasn’t aware of before I read it. If you’re looking for a good read and think you can handle reading about a pandemic right now, I highly recommend it.
