Must. Control. Myself. New this year is Urban Decay’s Naked2 Palette ($50, Beauty.com). The Naked Palette (first version) is my all-time favorite eyeshadow palette and I still use it daily. Naked2 comes with five new shades this year and I’m happy to report that they kept the sparkly eyeshadows (which are my favorite!)
Love the new funky looking case – it’s so shallow but I’m just a sucker for cool packaging and the art-inspired lid comes with a neat hinge close. (Plus it’s even more functional for tossing in your purse to go!). The palette also features a travel-size Lip Junkie Lipgloss in Naked, and a double-ended, cruelty-free Good Karma Shadow/Crease Brush.
I’m always intrigued by cool packaging, but then I rarely use it. Sigh.

I’m like that with a lot of stuff too Nicole but not my original Naked Palette – I use it all the time, cool packaging and all so I’ll eventually buy this one too!
I drooled over the initial palette when it first came out. I almost paid like $70 on eBay to score one when they were sold out everywhere. So do you like this one better than the original Naked?
Kate, I do. But the original Naked is still awesome. I like that this one has a bigger mirror than the original and I think I’m due for a change so I like that there are new colors. I saw it in-store and regret not buying it then and there… I’m gonna suck it up and get it soon. Or maybe hubby will see this and buy it for my birthday next week! (Fat chance of that but a girl can dream lol)
