Bright Starts Around We Go Activity Station from Kids II: Party in the house!

There was a huge party in my house yesterday– due to the Bright Starts Around We Go Activity Station from Kids II (MSRP $89.99). Baby Allegra was safely standing in the seat, cooing and reaching for the toys on the table (she liked the stalk toys), while big bro Ben was standing on the other side, playing. He kept coming back to play with the duck in the boat- just pull the string and the motor makes the back wheel on the ship spin. My toddler gets bored very easily, but managed to be enthralled with this for hours.
The Bright Starts Around We Go Activity Station is designed for sibling interaction and boy did we get that!! My baby and toddler could actually do something together. I am very careful about using our on the floor playgym when my older child is around, he tends to jump right in or on them (and I have to make sure the baby is not in his path). With the Around We Go, I could relax a little, and let them play together (my baby was in the seat, her brother stood). As my son played, he kept talking to his little sister, “Look at me Legra. Allegra, at 5 1/2 months, is on the young side for this (I would use it for babies over 6 months). Her feet just touched the floor, but she loved grabbing at all the things on it. She couldn’t move the seat around the table however, but I am sure she will master it in the next couple of months. When the baby wasn’t in the seat, my son thought it was hysterical to put his beloved Big Bird in the seat and push him around the table. I hope he doesn’t start doing that with his sister, but I liked how he realized, that the seat goes around the table.
My husband put this together recently. While there were a lot of parts and it took him a while, he really liked how the detailed and easy to read the directions were (he only had a hard time with one thing, which was minor anyway). He was also really impressed by how well it worked and how so much thought was put into this activity station.
Once your child has outgrown the rotatiing seat, you can take it off and use it as stand alone toddler table. I imagine both my children will love standing next to each other, playing. And the most amazing thing about the Around We Go? We hadn’t even put batteries in yet and it was still so much fun for both of my kids. Click here to see a demo.

The Petal Pusher Carrier Toy Bar also met with Allegra’s approval. During one of the rare times that she actually got to ride in the single stroller, I attached it – just snap it on in two places on each side. I tested this on an Inglesina Zippy Stroller. It will work on an infant car seat bar also. My daugheter loved seeing and grabbing the flowers.
