For the little guys, a recent release is Play with me Sesame’s Furry, Fun and Healthy Too. The movie engages preschoolers about healthy habits such as xercise and going to the dentist. It’s $12.99 on Amazon.
From the Cartoon Network, Bakugan: Battle Brawlers Vol. 1 recently released and is 40% off at $8.99 on Amazon.
Jim Hensen’s Tortoise vs. Hare – releasing September 9th, Jim Hensen of Muppets fame is behind this one where the Tortoise and the Hare come together 15 years later after their infamous race. Their kids are along for the ride as well. It has a pre-order price of $17.99 on Amazon.
Hit Entertainment’s Halloween Spooktacular – releasing September 9th, my kids are a huge fan of these Hit Entertainment (lots of shows from PBS Sprout) assorted DVD collections. This one features Barney, Thomas, Bob the Builder and Angelina Ballerina – all episodes are Halloween related. It has a pre-order price of $12.99 on Amazon.

Thomas & Friends: the Great Discovery Movie – releasing September 9th, Pierce Brosnan is the narrator of this latest in the Thomas & Friends movie collection. It’s pre-order price on Amazon is $17.99.
I recently got Animal Planet’s Orangutan Island Season 1 in the mail and I’m interested to check it out as we’re such fans of Meerkat Manor. This one is of course the reality tv/life of orangutans. It’s $14.99 on Amazon.
And last but certainly not least by any means is the Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds 3D DVD release. Debbie wrote a review on it earlier this week, and it’s been hard to miss the hype and excitement over it. For all the kids who couldn’t attend the concert, this is the next best thing. Scenes of Miley getting ready open the movie, the rest being the concert itself which can be watched on tv in 3D to make you feel like you’re really there. It’s $21.99 on Amazon (37% off retail price).
