Did you know that you can get food to entertain with at CVS?  I didn’t until last fall and my friends this past weekend remarked that they didn’t know you could either.  It’s a best kept secret!  CVS has a food brand line called Gold Emblem and they make some great snack foods and options for your next party at your house.  Seriously!

This past weekend, I went with my family up to a friend’s house in the Poconos.  We did a weekend of snow tubing, skiing and just general snacking and eating as you do when you’re with a group!  I brought a massive box of CVS Gold Emblem goodies up and we snacked on them throughout the weekend as well as used their products to compliment our other goodies during Football Playoffs.

Their snack foods are just a great quick and easy option for entertaining.  They are good!  My all time favorite is the CVS Gold Emblem Popcorn and I think  everyone in our group would agree.  Everyone loves popcorn!  It’s really affordable and it’s really one of the tastiest bagged popcorns I’ve ever had.  We were eating it all weekend.

Gold Emblem sells all sorts of nuts options – trail mixes, Mixed Nuts and more.  My favorite by far are the honey roasted ones like this CVS Gold Emblem Honey Roasted Mixed Nuts.  And I am seriously a crack addict with the Gold Emblem Dark Chocolate Covered Jumbo Almonds($7.49).  We had these out in a tray with 3 chocolate  products and I was eating these by the handful – definitely not calorie friendly when you eat it like the popcorn but oh-so-good!

Also pictured here (the front are the Dark Chocolate Covered Almonds) are the Pomegranate Flavored Dark Chocolate Bites and the Sea Salt Chocolate Caramels.

The cookies were a huge hit with the kids:

Superbowl’s right around the  corner and if you’re entertaining, head to your local CVS and pick up some of these goodies.  You seriously won’t be sorry – the cost alone is a reason (so affordable!) and all of the items are tasty and EASY!  All of these items are good for complementing items you may already be making.  For example, I loved using the Gold Emblem Ranch-Flavored Pretzel Bites to dip in my football staple Pepperoni Dip (post on that coming soon!).

You can see some of the Gold Emblem items on the CVS website but definitely be sure to check out what’s available in-store as the website doesn’t have all of the goodies and we tried many more than are listed here!
