Hold me, people. I never thought the day would come that I would be so obsessed with make-up. But the more time that goes on (in part due to this website, the other getting more wrinkly I age), the more I appreciate decent make-up products.
And I gotta give credit where credit is due, my 13-year-old niece and my sister-in-law. When we were all up in New York City recently, I realized I had left my makeup bag in the car. In the parking garage. Like 34 floors down. I was in a rush to get ready so I knocked on the hotel room next door to borrow from my sister in law and niece. They handed me the Urban Decay Naked Palette to use for my eye shadow. Abbie (my niece) had learned about it from one of the YouTube makeup stars she follows and they had tracked down the product in a local Sephora store.
I’m not gonna sugar coat it – this palette is ahhhh-mazing. The colors are so fabulous for the fall and work with just about every skin tone! Plus I love that there are 12 different shades for me to change it up to suit any mood, day or night. Most of the colors are pretty neutral but the last couple are fun and will definitely pack a little zing to your look!
The Urban Decay Naked Palette is tough to find. I got it at Sephora.com for $48. As they offer free shipping when you spend over $50 (and shipping would have cost $6 on my $48 order), I also put a $5 Body Shop Body Butter product in my cart. And also used coupon code FAUXCILS, which got me a free Yves St. Laurent Mini Mascara (eligible coupon for any order over $25 at Sephora.com)
If you get it, let me know what you think! I can’t wait for mine to arrive!
Thanks for showing this to me!!!! I love Urban Decay make-up and this palette is awesome! Must have, NOW!!
OMG Renee, it’s the best. I can’t wait to get it, I ordered it just a few days ago myself!
Ok, you just renewed my obsession to find it. When it first came out I decided to take the plunge and buy it and….it was sold out EVERYWHERE! I even almost paid like $80 to get it from someone on Ebay. But on my last visit to Sephora.com, I saw it was back in stock! Good to know it’s worth it.
