Man, sometimes I have a tough job. Taking 3 friends for pedicures to a local salon recently was a rough gig but somehow I powered through. 😉
The assignment was thanks to Skinny Cow.
Have you guys tried Skinny Cow before? A product made by Nestle, they are calorie-friendly dessert treats that are pretty tasty! I used to eat Skinny Cow a ton when I counted calories with Weight Watchers and myFitnessPal.com and I continued to pick up their products long after I stopped with my “official” diet because they are a way to still watch what you are eating but have a nice treat!
This summer, Skinny Cow is making a push for us ladies to have a WoCave. You know how the men get the Man Cave? What do we get? A pile of dishes and a basket of laundry – seriously? Enough of that!
Skinny Cow is promoting women creating their own space or Woman Cave, the “WoCave” this summer. What’s the WoCave? (pronounced Wo-cah-vay) It’s somewhere you can kick back, be girly and do the things your guy probably has no interest in doing with you. And the thing about your WoCave – it doesn’t necessarily have to be a space like an office, or a basement like a Man Cave. It can be a place that you can go to relax and be yourself – somewhere that’s just for you.
Like the trip I took yesterday with my girlfriends to our local salon! Somewhere just for us – our mini WoCave for the day! We went to the Zazen Nail Spa – right in my hometown, although I had never been. Here’s some picts from our day:
Of course I had to bring some Skinny Cow for us to enjoy while getting our pedicures!
And my friend Gina got the cutest color – nice, right? I want to try this one next time:
I got a shimmery orange that I thought was fun for the summer:
By the way, how cute are the new shoes I got to go along with my pedicure. They are INC International Concepts Women’s Shoes, Mercer Thong Sandals and I got them on sale at Macys.com for $29.99 – cute, right?
Get into the WoCave revolution and visit the site and check out the awesome contest they are having! You can enter to win $7,500 towards your own WoCave this summer by creating your own fun WoCave set on Polyvore on the WoCave Skinny Cow Contest.
Disclaimer: This post is a part of a 3-part series I’m doing this summer for a campaign with Skinny Cow. I am being compensated for my participation. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I love Skinny Cow. When I follow Weight Watchers knowing that I can have Skinny Cow as a treat at the end of the day always helps me avoid snacking.
A WoCave would be wonderful. Prior to having kids I had a sewing room (my mother always had one when I was growing up) and it’s on the list for our next house!
I have a WoCave Crafting Room in my basement – it is a mess right now, but it is all mine!
I have a coupon that I cut out. Looked intriguing…now I will try it per your recommendation!!!
What a fun outing! I love the idea of a WoCave and I love Skinny Cow…YUM! Now, I have to find that orange shimmery nail polish color!
I lobe those! My mom always buys them so I steal them when we go for a visit. I should probably just buy my own box 🙂
Super fun! And I love those flips. 🙂
I love Skinny Cow and did a review of their candy! I would have LOVED this assignment. How fun! I have to try those ice cream novelties and I love the idea of a WoCave! http://gigglesgobblesandgulps.com/2013/03/22/skinny-cow-candy-review-divine-filled-chocolates-new-product/
Skinny Cow ice cream candy bars and chocolates are my favorite “sinful” desserts without all of the “sin” Looks like you and your friends had a great day out!! You have inspired me to plan a day with some of my besties – complete with some Skinny Cow goodies!!!
I have a plan to my blah office into WoCave, just waiting on budget!! I need one 🙂
Mmmmm… Skinny Cow 🙂 Looks like a great time! Oh, the fun I would have decorating with $7500…
I have not tried Skinny Cow, but I think I could be coerced into trying it while getting a pedicure.
As if I need an excuse to go to the market! Looks yum.
LOVE Skinny Cow desserts! They are the perfect blend of delicious taste without feeling guilty. And now, I need to go get a pedicure…
This post blew my mind.
