Friday: Hokie Hope Day

All day Friday, the alumni of Virginia Tech are leading “Hokie Hope,” a national “Orange and Maroon Effect” day. I’m asking you to join in the hope and declare your support by sporting the Virginia Tech colors tomorrow.
As a member of the larger Tech community, I was deeply affected by the Tragedy at Tech on Monday. MWS has many readers who are closely related: alums, family of alums, neighbors of the school, friends of faculty, staff and students. As with so many other online communities, we’re gathering to seek support. As the VPI community widens, and the nation becomes Hokies for the day, please keep the victims, families and friends in your hearts.
