I had a fantastic time last week with a double event here in Philly when Beth Feldman from Role Mommy came through town to promote her new book, See Mom Run Book.

First stop was at the Tennis Addiction in Exton, PA where we got to chat and check out the inside of the facility.   They offered a yoga class.  My sister the yoga instructer will be proud to see I actually tried a few poses and didn’t fall flat on my face:

Of course I needed a little help:

Later in the evening, we regrouped at Calista Spa in West Chester where we got to have makeovers and hear make-up and hair style tips from spa professionals.  Here I am (left) with Zareen (center), also from Mommies with Style, and Beth from Role Mommy and author of the See Mom Run Book:

Shannon from Chester County Moms won the award for the messiest purse – a prize which included a Swiffer Wet Jet and tons of other fun goodies from Beth:

Lastly, I won a pot from Acme, a regional grocery store chain.  They came and sponsored some great food, along with telling us about their cool new promotion where you earn stickers towards cookware when you shop at their stores.  I ended up winning a pot, which is being modeled here by my 3 year old the next day:

So the events were tons of fun and I always love getting a chance to hang out with local bloggers.  And a shout out to Sarah at ChescoMoms  for doing a fab job organizing both events.

Check out Beth’s new book on the See Mom Run Book website.  It’s full of some great essays from many harried Moms, including our very own Ciaran/Momfluential and Julie’s Mom (it’s a story about Julie as a kid!)  I’ll leave you guys with this great video of Beth reading her story about being a Sanitation Mom – I think you can all relate!:

  1. Ciaran/Momfluential says

Julie! I didn’t know your mom was one of the contributors! Which essay?

Wish you could all be here for the LA party. It would be way more fun. Such a funny book – great writers!
