we would love tickets! we live in NYC just a few blocks away and my daughter is dying to go. Can’t afford tickets these days, especially for the whole family. Keeping my fingers crossed
Life is a circus sometimes. And hopefully most of the time we are laughing about it. I remember when I was little how dark they made it inside and then had these lights that would twinkle like stars all around. I was entranced by the trapeze. The whole circus production is an art. I might add that I wasn’t fond of clowns when I was little and I don’t want that for my daughter. This is therapy for me π
My best circus experience was when we went with my whole 6 grade class. It was a blast. We now live in New York and I would love to take my 3 year old to the circus for the very firt time!
Going to the circus with my Nana and Papa, waving lights in the air!
My favorite circus experience was when my Dad took me and my “boyfriend” to see the Ringling Bros. for my 4th birthday instead of having a birthday party. My Mom was 9 months pregnant with my little brother & it was the last time I remember really having a parent to myself (no offense Jeffrey, having you around really has been great). I have two little girls who have never been to the circus before & I would love to take them.
My best circus experience was when I was just 5 or 6 years old and I went to the circus for the first time in NYC. It all seemed so wonderful to me and I can still remember it, I can’t wait to take my kid and watch their reactions!
my favorite circus memory was going with my grandparents and getting the little red lights on a string that we would swin around above our heads. I relize now how dangerous they were.. but I really miss those little lights.
Became a fan of Mommies With Style on Facebook.
Funny thing is, I can still remember how bad the smell was (all those animals doing their business in there!). But I always loved the circus. Would love to take my son for the first time!
I just tweeted under emjnj! I hope we win as I’ve been dying to take my 3 year old to the circus in NYC (her favorite place)!
Embrace the clowns! Clowns are our friends. This is my mantra. LOL (Refer to earlier post). π
I have been wanting to take my 3 year old to the Big Apple Circus! Everyone I know who has been there has raved about it. This would be totally age-appropriate and we live in NYC!
My best memory of the circus is the people on the trapeze – I love how the guy was able to holding two women on top and just swing like he was holding feathers.
I have circus fever. The little one has been asking me about the circus and what does it do. She hung upside down on a trapeze bar a few weeks ago. I know she would be mesmerized by the aerialist π
I have so many wonderful memories of the circus: the trapeze, the clowns and the animals. Most of all I loved spending a special day with my family doing something that was extraordinary π
Okay, here’s a little ditty that sums some of what the circus has to offer, aside from clowns that is π

And watch the animals play.

I have a vague memory of being taken to the circus by my dad as a surprise one day after school. I remember the smell of the popcorn and the wonder of it all. I honestly couldn’t believe my good luck. Thnaks for the chance, what a great giveaway!!
It would mean the world and so much more to my family and I if we were granted this most amazing opportunity. I previously worked for Ringling Bros. circus over the summer. That, as well as my childhood memories of attending the circus have really helped shaped my life. I literally can’t walk down the street without being reminded of my amazing times spent at the Circus. Everything from animal crackers, to elephant statues, to songs with the word circus in them..I live, love, breathe, everything for the circus. The circus has a special place in our hearts, and really hits home whenever we get the chance to see it. My family has recently had a discussion about our strong desire to attend the Big Apple Circus. I would love to be the one to surprise them with tickets. Also, given that we are going through some tough financial times, and were looking for any way possible to make our dream of attending a reality. Please! I thank you in advance for giving us all this amazing chance to enter and have the hope of attending one of the greatest, most exciting events in my eyes.
I remember going to circus with my dad when I was about 8. It was the first time I’d seen an elephant up close and I fell in love with them!
This has the potential to be the most memorable circus for my family π
“He flies through the air with the greatest of ease….” If my daughter had the opportunity to see a trapeze performance, she would flip (pun intended). She would be thrilled just to have a fabulous day to remember, clowns and all. Then I can ask her what her best circus memory is π
The Big Apple Circus – What Fun. I have always enjoyed the show – But have not had an opportunity to take my youngest son – He would enjoy it as much as I have in the past.
