When I was a kid, my first set of stitches came from a trampoline. I was in second or third grade and I was with a friend. This was one of those old school trampolines back in the 80s – big, black and encircled by a metal pole that screamed “bang into me and break a bone.” I may not have broken a bone but in a random moment of “I am awesome,” I thought I could do a flip and show off in front of my friend. My chin ended up on the metal bar and I ended up getting six stitches that day.
Because of that childhood trauma, I’ve always had a bit of a hesitation when it comes to trampolines despite numerous friends telling me that they are much safer now with netting and padding.
Today’s review is groundbreaking because we now have a trampoline in the house and I’m happy to report it’s safe and my kids love it! The iBounce Kids Tramploline costs $129.95 and is a small trampoline with handlebars for kids to hold onto as they bounce.
I have two boys. The bottom line is that my kids LOVE to bounce on things – 90% of the time that’s my sofas and our beds which are probably less safe than that 80s trampoline I bounced on way back when. So I’m thrilled to have an option for my kids to get a bit of energy out that’s safe, fun and designed to withstand their bouncing on!
My kids are 8 & 5. The iBounce is designed for kids ages 2-5 so it’s definitely over my oldest’s age but it allows for children up to 80 lbs to bounce on it and he’s 60 so I figured we were good to use it.
And the feature that makes the iBounce different from other toddler trampolines is the companion component of RompyRoo, the iBounce kangaroo who you can follow along with via video. There’s a stand on the iBounce for an iPad or tablet and RompyRoo videos can be played and the kids can mimick his jumping suggestions which is cute for a rainy day! (Your tablet secures in place so no worries that your kids will bounce it off and to the ground.) You can also follow along via tv on a DVD if you don’t have a tablet.
Get the iBounce Kids Tramploline for $129.95. Also, we one one to giveaway to one lucky Mommies with Style reader!
We can also offer a giveaway of an iBounce Kids Trampoline (value of $129.95) to one reader. U.S. only please.

I love the fact you can have a tablet attached to keep their attention with their favorite videos. This would be perfect for my son for his therapy and the handlebars look safe in case he gets off he wouldn’t injury himself. Very nice!
I like that it develops coordination, balance and endurance and that it is made with a Durable steel frame
I love everything about it. Develops coordination, balance and endurance and that it is very easy to assemble. I really like that it is very good exercise.
