Having fun with kids music: Barenaked Ladies’ Snack Time

The last time I *really* listened to the Barenaked Ladies, I was a twenty-something, cheap-beer drinking, late-night-partying fun single type. And oh how I loved them. The best thing about Barenaked Ladies music and concerts were how fun they were. Some of my fondest concert doing days include watching them on the pier in San Francisco, or dancing with some friends in front of the stage at Tufts during their Spring Weekend… oh-so-many-moons ago.
Still, it was nice to have a little gleam of those old days in my CD player recently when we got the latest from Barenaked Ladies, Snack Time. It’s the same fun sounds only with lyrics your kids will appreciate. Watch the video to hear a clip of their song “7, 8, 9.”
