It’s that time of year again – Skylanders time! They have released their latest game, Skylanders SuperChargers. The new schtick with this year’s game is the add-on of cars and vehicles. The starter pack comes with one vehicle (you can buy more at your local store for an additional price, of course) and the cars can go on land, water and in the air. My boys have been testing the game out for a few days now and are already demanding another car because having one is “epic!”
Activision has also stepped it up a notch with some voice over characters that may sound familiar to you! As your kids play, listen for ActorsJosh Duhamel(High Volt),Brittany Snow(Splat) andNeal McDonough(Astroblast).
With this new game, you can also play online and go head-to-headwith race competitions and if you have two vehicles, you can play two person split screen racing at home locally. You can connect with friends and enable voice chat.
Also Donkey Kong and Bowser make appearances in this latest.
A dedicated combat racing game,Skylanders SuperChargers Racing, will be made available on Wii and Nintendo 3DS
