Huge Family Room Reveal: Re-Do of ALL FURNITURE

You guys! Remember when I redid my Master Bedroom with Raymour & Flanigan last year? I said in that post that our bedroom was now my new favorite room in the house. And it was. Until last month. When we re-did our family room with Raymour & Flanigan.

OMG people. I am so obsessed with this room, I can’t possibly even communicate how much we love this new family room. In fact, my husband now has a thing with me and the new sofa. He’ll scream at me, “DON’T SIT ON IT!!!” on the weekends because he KNOWS that if I sit on it, I literally DO NOT GET UP. It’s so comfortable and perfect, it’s the couch that sucks me in and I never want to leave.

So I’m going to include a few photos below and tell you about each piece.  To start, the entire thing revolves around our Cindy Crawford Fontaine 4-pc Sectional Sofa ($3499.95).  I have always wanted a sectional but I wasn’t sure that our room shape was conducive to it.  I threw caution to the wind and ordered this sofa and the entire room changed because of it.

It was about time!  We had had the same style of room for 14 years and I am LOVING our new look.  We have shifted the new sofa to the corner of the room.

I can’t reiterate how comfortable it is.  Besides the fact that the neutral look of it works with just about anything AND it’s big enough that it fits our family of 4 easily and would fit guests too!  Nate (10) has already had several sleepovers on it with 2-3 boys sleeping on it at a time.

We also got the Cindy Crawford Fontaine Cocktail Ottoman ($499.95) to compliment the sectional.  It IS NOT something I would have normally picked out but it was featured with the sectional in my local Raymour & Flanigan and I just loved how they complimented one another with the mixed material look.

This teal chair that we’ve put in the corner is the Tatiana Chenille Chair ($499.95) and I had to have it custom covered to get it in the teal color. As much as I adore it in the cream shown, having such a light color wasn’t in the cards for us with kids and cats.  I was SO HAPPY when the guys showed up with this chair and I saw how lovely the color turned out.  It works perfectly in the house.

Other goodies include the Marble Floor Lamp ($129.95) and matching Table Lamp ($89.95) and the Hartford End Table which is currently not available on the site but if it does become available, I will come back in and link it on up.

Here’s something else that’s awesome about Raymour & Flanigan.  There’s always a sale or a deal to be had.  While I was given a generous gift card to get everything, I was amazed at how many discounts my awesome sales rep was able to offer me given what sale was running that day.
