So I’m shocked to see that it’s been a year since I received my last Stitch Fix box. I’ve done a couple of Trunk Club boxes, which are owned by Nordstrom and definitely a little higher priced than Stitch Fix.

I thought I’d see what Stitch Fix would put together for me for an early summer box. Here’s what I got yesterday:

Outfit #1: This is the Skies are Blue Amiko Crochet Neckline Top for $54 and the Dear John Finnegan Roll Cuff Chino Short for $58. I think they are cute but I do question the quality long term. Now that I’ve been doing Stitch Fix for a couple of years, I think their stuff is fun and stylish but not necessarily high-quality clothing. A lot of my items haven’t lasted past a season so while I think these items are cute, I’m not sure. What do you think?

Outfit #2: This is the Skies are Blue Amiko Crochet Neckline Top for $54 again and I’m in the Just Black Corrine Distressed Button Up Fray Hem Skinny Jeans in white for $88

Outfit #3: This is the Skies are Blue Amiko Crochet Neckline Top for $54 again and also the Just Black Corrine Distressed Button Up Fray Hem Skinny Jeans in white for $88 and. With those, I’m wearing the Liverpool Kolten Cropped Denim Jacket for $98

Outfit #4: The top is the Tart Milla Crew Neck Knit Top for $58 and the pants are still the Just Black Corrine Distressed Button Up Fray Hem Skinny Jeans in white for $88

Did I mention that the Button Up top is a little insane with buttons? See here:

So… per the usual with Stitch Fix, I get $20 off anything I order because I paid that for my stylist fee of having items picked out and shipped to me. (The fee is deducted from your sale if you buy anything, otherwise you send it all back for free and just don’t get your $20 back.)

Also, if I keep all 5 items, I get 25% off. Total cost for everything is $242. But I probably won’t keep it all. I like most of it but am not sure I *love* any of it. What do you guys think? Help me decide – I have to ship back tomorrow!

  1. These outfits are all really cute! I love the crochet neck top with the white jeans. But I agree with you about the price and quality… I haven’t used StitchFix in a while, but the clothing that I kept faded or had major pilling after just a few washes. And when you’re paying $50+ for a t-shirt, I expect it to last a little longer.

Incidentally, they sent me that black and white striped t-shirt with a colored collar a year and a half ago. So I’m not even sure how trendy/recent their clothing is.

    • I ended up sending it all back today. Yah what I have hasn’t seem to hold up so nothing seemed worth it at the prices! Same thing w/the pilling!

Felt like I should just shop Old Navy for cheaper prices and same quality. Bummed – I was hoping they would have improved over the last year.
