It’s still a little surreal to me that this was my yesterday. Yes, this:
I was invited by Diet Pepsi (Sofia is their spokesperson) to Manhattan along with my good blogging friend Audrey and was given the chance to interview Sofia Vergara (Modern Family) in her “closet.” It was tons of fun and she was wonderful! She was very gracious and we were one of just dozens of media reps who had filtered into the studio to interview her that day.
I was definitely stumped on what to wear – we were instructed that we would also be photographed in Sofia’s closet like we were one of her “girlfriends on a shopping spree,” so I didn’t want to look too formal. But of course I wanted to look nice – I mean seriously, look who I was standing next to!
I already had this Gemma Wrap Dress ($98) in black from Banana Republic and I knew it came in a few colors so I ran over to my local store and got it in Magenta! Love it, right? It’s so versitle and you can definitely dress it up or down. They call it “Purple Orchid.”

And more picts and video hopefully coming soon of my day with Sofia! We didn’t get to snap many photos off my own phone but the agency took a ton of them (plus the video!) so I hope to share those with you guys once I have them! It was such an awesome day. Hubby and I are huge fans of Modern Family so it was really cool to get a chance to meet “Gloria” and get a little insight from her on Gloria’s Season 4 Maternity style and check out some of Sofia’s own clothing line!

Angela – it was staged. But most of the clothes were from her line! I would imagine her real life closet is probably 10 times the size! lol!
