I’m comfortable. Even at nearly 26 weeks, comfortable. Comfortable, that is, when I’m wearing comfortable clothing. And I’ve really been searching for more comfortable clothing this pregnancy, especially comfortable clothing that looks good. Because, though I may be a mom of 2.7 children, I represent *me*, in addition to my kids, and I try to look good… no matter how I feel.
One clothing line that I’m really enjoying for comfort and style is Ingrid & Isabel. Known best for their Bella Band, they also have a line of Essentials. Bottomline, no matter which you’re wearing, you’re getting comfort and style.
The Bella Bands come in high-fashion colors, with some even trimmed in lace. Dressing up a desirable, and often necessary, piece of clothing. I’ve been wearing them under so many tops, and over so many bottoms. They especially work over old maternity jeans, the kind that have the big bowl type of stretchy belly protection, which is never completely covered by maternity shirts, no matter how long. The Bella Bands cover, they hold up the elastic belly that often falls down, and they offer support for my heavy belly.
Ingrid & Isabel’s Essentials Collection is so much more than everyday. They offer belly leggings (great support, they work like tights under tunic-style and longer tops), camis, pants and tanks. The Ruched Tank is one of my favorite maternity pieces. I’ve dressed it up with a skirt and jewelry for a dinner party and dressed it down with jeans for an everyday look. Its also fabulous under a suit–a completely workable maternity top that looks everything but frumpy with elasticity to support yoru growing belly.
Ingrid & Isabel has become an essential part of my maternity wardrobe. Certainly make sure you check it out, if not for you, then pass this one on to your friends who are pregnant. They’ll thank you, I’m sure. Order at Figure 8 Maternity with coupon code mws78 to receive $4 off 2 BellaBands and $10 off 4 BellaBands.

  1. The tank top looks great and really comfy. It would match up with all sorts of other things.
