Like me, I bet you have a bunch of clothes, shoes and other accessories in your closet that are sitting there unused. I know that I love to purge about once a year and end up taking bags of clothes up to my local clothing donation organization. But recently, I learned about Look Good Feel Better, an organization that helps women who are dealing with the side effects from cancer treatments but using your donated items to help them. Look Good Feel Better hosts free workshops and provides other educational resources to teach beauty and styling techniques to these women.
Some current news: Look Good Feel Better is partnering with C. Wonder and Fashion Project to raise awareness and funds for Look Good Feel Better through September 18! How does it work and how will it benefit Look Good Feel Better?
Here’s the scoop: Now through September 18th, You can donate gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories in a donation bin at participating C. Wonder locations or online. Customers who participate by donating items in-store or online will receive 20% off a C. Wonder purchase of $100 or more. The donated items will then be sold online by Fashion Project. Fifty-five percent of the proceeds from each online sale will be donated to Look Good Feel Better.
You can also attend a VIP in-store event that will take place at 11 participating stores. The events will feature light bites, sips and styling tips, and 10% of the sales during the events will be donated to Look Good Feel Better. Additionally, any guest attending will receive 20% off their purchase during the event!
