One of my biggest pet peeves with collages people feature from Polyvore are the prices and the accessibility of the products featured. There’s nothing worse than seeing a cute outfit and clicking on one of the items only to find out that the item is $2000 at Harrods and you have to pay another $200 to have it shipped to the US.

But I sometimes can’t help clicking and today I went over and was determined to work together a few outfits that are 1) affordable 2) all items that are found easily at stores or sites we all know and love.

On top of that, I was thinking recently about how much I love my summer wardrobe – I’m so big on summer maxi dresses and skirts and the nice thing about fall is the easy transition. My summer outfits can still work with just a few changes.

I thought this was a cute outfit and way to take a summer outfit (cute chevron dress) and “fall it up” by changing out sandals for fall boots and a jean jacket. It works, right?

Plus the boots, only $80 and the most expensive item is the tote for $100. Definitely all affordably priced items!

What do you think?

  1. I LOVE this idea!! I adore a denim jacket with a dress!! And pairing it with boots makes it a perfect fall outfit!! Love!!

  2. This is such a great pairing! With some tights too, that whole outfit would be great even on a chilly fall day.

  1. […] This is why I like to look at Pinterst and Indulgy for wardrobe ideas.  I would not have thought to put turquoise and orange together but this looks amazing.  And throw on that jean jacket you just got and you are set to go! Image found at Mommies with Style. […]
