You’d be hard pressed to have missed a Bendaroos commercial in the last few months. In fact, their branding has been so great, my 5 year old spent weeks walking around quoting the ad verbatim. (That’s some powerful marketing, folks!)
He was on us to get him a pack, so we finally broke down and got him one when I found them on sale locally. So what are they? They are “flexible bending sticks.” Basically it’s a no mess toy. (woohoo) Waxy, pliable and colorful sticks, they can be bent and molded into various shapes. You’ll find all sorts of cool suggestions on the website. Each “box” come with 500 colorful sticks for your kids to build with.
But here’s the bonus usage we recently discovered: Bendaroos as wine charms! On a recent trip with friends, the kids had left their Bendaroos out on the kitchen table. After they went to bed, the Moms and Dads found we were confusing our drinks. One savvy Mommy used a Bendaroo to identify her glass and we all followed suit. Even funnier were the questions the next day, “Mommy, why is there a Bendaroo on your wine glass?”
Seriously though, this is a great, reusable craft and toy that keeps kids entertained for hours. They sell for $19.99. Visit the YouBendaroo.com website to purchase and get inspired with design ideas.
GIVEAWAY: We also have 5 packs of Bendaroos to giveaway to 5 lucky Mommies with Style winners. To enter, leave a comment in this posting letting us know what you think your kids would build with their Bendaroos if you won.
5 winners will be selected at random after April 19th.
