My ALL time favorite pair of boots that I have EVER owned are from the Frye Company. I paid full price for them several years ago – over $400 which I know is insane – but they were well worth it as I’ve worn them constantly over the years and they held up incredibly well. Very well… until our Border Collie puppy chewed one of the straps off. I still stubbornly wear them even though one of the straps has been chewed off just because I love them so much.
But HALLELUJAH! I found out that the Frye Jane Strappy boot has been discontinued after many successful years on their website, so they can now be found at discounted retailers until they sell out completely. Like 6pm.com. Who has several colors available for purchase.
I am *this* close to ordering these ones pictured above {theFrye Jane Strappy in Fatigue Suede/Veg Tan}.
I love this gray suede look – I just think this would look so cool with a skirt and a jean jacket, right? Or with a cute fun spring dress. (Something like this. From Anthropologie, maybe.)
By the way, these are the ones I previously had. Frye Jane Strappy in Tan Tumbled Full Grain. I think the color is so versatile and like I said, they have held up really well over the years and are incredibly comfortable even with the heel.
