High chairs are not often known for their style. Plastic behemoths, too-loud colors and cheap materials abound. But then there is Svan. Their high chair has been one of my favorite pieces of baby gear since I initially discovered it with my first child. And now they’ve given it an upgrade to add even more features.

The newly remodel, redesigned and renamed Signet High Chair Complete (the old model was called the Svan high chair) maintains a number of its original features:

Adjustable: suitable from 6-months up to adulthood, the chair’s seat height and depth as well as the footrest adjust to provide the perfect support for your child’s age

Easy to clean: the snap-on plastic tray is dishwasher-safe and the back and seat cushions remove easily for laundering.

– Gorgeous color selection: choose from 5 different wood finishes and 9 cushion colors (sold separately) to create a chair that coordinates with your kitchen instead of clashing.

– Lightweight, yet durable and sturdy: many wooden high chairs weigh in at 25 to over 30lbs, but the Signet Complete weighs in at just 20 lbs. and the yet the design is sturdy enough to endure eager toddlers and durable enough to last through multiple children.

The new model also includes a number of useful updates:

– Easier adjustments: Svan has made the high chair more user-friendly by making it easier to adjust with updated hardware and descriptive labels to ensure you’re making the adjustments correctly.

– 5-point harness: Upgraded from a 3-point harness, the new 5-point harness helps keep mealtime squirmers in their seat.

– Lower price: Best of all, you get more for less! The new high chair has a lower price point than its previous model as well as two options to choose from – the Complete (from 6+ months) which includes the wooden tray, plastic cover and guard or the Essential (from 2+years) for older children who don’t need the attached tray. Having a new baby? Svan also sells the tray separately to convert an Essential into a Complete.

For its quality, design, style and features, this is one of my favorite products. Visit www.svan.com to learn more or purchase.
