“Playingdress up begins at age five and never truly ends” -Kate Spade
I recently turned 20 and while I’m feeling sophisticated and mature, I’m also feeling old. I remember dressing up with my girlfriends in sparkly gowns and high heels like it was yesterday. We would host fashion shows in my room and giggle for hours on end.
And although some time may have passed, my love for fashion has not. I could tell you all my girlfriends and I did was laugh, but I’d be lying. We planned out our entire lives together and at the age of five, I would never have planned myself here. I have been given incredible opportunities that have allowed me to extend my knowledge and become who I am today. In some sense, I still am that little girl with her friends playing dress up, yet it’s not fantasy anymore…this is my reality.
