Yo, guys. I’ve missed the last two Pinspiration weeks as I was sick as a dog the first week and in Disneyland the next. But I’m back with a fun one this week – pink drinks and recipes that inspired me on Pinterest!
Colleen and I have planning the menu for our Mom Mixer event this upcoming Saturday in Philadelphia. (150 Mom bloggers, great brands & all sorts of mingling and fun for the day here) One of the things we were looking into was having a fun pink drink for attendees. I had WAY too much fun looking up pink cocktails on Pinterest. So many choices! For fun, here’s a few that inspired me – I have them all pinned and am planning a taste test this summer:
Pear & Cranberry Bellini, from Martha Stewart
1 bottle of champagne
1 cup of pear nectar
1 cup of cranberry juice
Watermelon Mojitos
The picture only is from the Berry.com but I thought it was so cute in the Mason Jar. Of course they didn’t list how to make them so I went over to the FoodNetwork.com to find this recipe:
Muddle 2 watermelon chunks with the juice of 1 lime and 2 teaspoons sugar in each glass. Stir in a handful of mint leaves, then add 2 ounces white rum and ice. Top with ginger ale; garnish with more mint.
Pink Champagne Punch
Here’s what you need for a big pitcher of this. You can also find more detailed directions on Yummly.com:
- 11/4 cups water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 strip lemon zest
- 1 cup pomegranate juice (chilled bottled)
- 3 tbsps fresh lemon juice
- 750 ml wine (chilled pink sparkling, or champagne)
- twists (lemon)
Pink Champagne Cocktail from the Blushing Bride
4 oz champagne
1 oz Peach Schnapps
1 oz Grenedine
Mix and serve – yum! Here’s the pin if you want more info.
Raspberry Tequila Sangria
This one may be my fav. I dunno. They all sound pretty good but this one may be the first I try. It’s from the Hopeless Domestic Blog and it’s a little more involved than the others but I bet you it’s worth it.
Ingredients:
1 bottle of champagne
