Are you guys familiar with Portable North Pole? I had checked them out last year when I made a video for my boys using their website. You plug in your child’s name, some personal info and you’ll get a personalized video of Santa talking to your child. Such a fun way to get into the spirit! It’s really kind of magical and so very 2014 to have your child see Santa talking to them specifically.
There’s 3 video options on the Portable North Pole website:
FREE: It’s available both online and as a downloadable app (last year there was a $3.99 charge for this; this year it’s free)
PREMIUM ($4): For a small cost, you can personalize your video even more with 3 storylines versus the one in the free version. (This works well if you have more than one child because you can do different stories for each child) and it can be viewed an unlimited amount of time.
HOLIDAY PASS ($9.99): With a Holiday Pass, you can create an unlimited amount of premium videos and calls from Santa.
I got a real kick out of making my boys personalized video. Here’s a little screenshot I took of Cole’s – there are some really nice personal touches where you can upload pictures and list names of friends’, making it really feel like an authentic call from Santa and that he knows your child so well. {This is an incoming call to Santa and it is telling Santa who is calling and where from – cute!}:
This next part cracked me up – you can choose how you want to address Santa (gotta love the Mom who picks that her child was naughty! Ha!)
Overall, it produces a fun and cute little video that is sure to get your kids jazzed up for Christmas!
Also, there’s also tons of free content on the website, such as Santa stories, behind the scenes of Santa’s Village (stories & some fun free downloadable Christmas coloring pages), and the Verdict Machine. Check out the app Santa Sprint in the iTunes too!
If you choose to make a video with one of the paid options, I have a PROMO CODE special for you guys – 20% off for web or mobile users: BLG20BKP
