A little over a week ago, I went on a top-secret whirlwind trip to Chicago. I wasn’t allowed to share any details about it until so I’m just bursting at the seams to share with you all if you haven’t already seen it on my Facebook page.

I went to Chicago to witness the first sale of a Red Nose at Walgreens. Not sure what that’s about? (That’s okay, I didn’t know either!) Let me explain.

Red Nose Day has come to the U.S. It’s a charity and fundraising initiative that has actually existed in the UK since 1988 but this will be the first year it’s come here to the States. Let’s show the world what the US is made of and raise a ton of money for this thing!!!

The deal is that you can buy red nose for $1 at your local Walgreens or Duane Reade if you live in New York City. All proceedsof every red nose sale are donated to charities that support poverty and children around the world via charity partners like Boys & Girls Clubs of America, charity: water, Feeding America, the United Way and more.

I visited Chicago with 9 other amazing social media wonder women who are a part of the Red Nose Day Team that will be helping to spread the word out. I’m really jazzed up & just honored to be in their company and a part of sharing about such an amazing program.

So what can you do to get involved?

2. Take a selfie with your nose on
3. Caption it:#RedNose#walgreensand#Promoon Twitter or Instagram

But by entering, you could win a trip to NYC to attend the NBC Red Nose Day TV live 3-hour event on May 21st. It’s going to be a huge event with tons of famous celebrities there! And if you don’t win – well hey. You’re helping kids in need and having fun. Right there is a win no matter what.

  2. I have to tell you, my friend, I LOVE this. You know I always adore anything that is ‘good’ and charity based, but there is something about this that has so much love and heart – and FUN. I watched, ‘liked’ and commented on every picture I saw of your mission last week. I’m thrilled that you are part of something that is clearly rooted in so much joy and kindness xoxo

  3. I love this! What a great initiative.
