Just another sleepless night around here. You all know the drill. Just when the baby starts almost sleeping through the night, the teething begins. You’d like to be able to take a nap but how are you supposed to get anything done if you “sleep when the baby sleeps” like people tell you. Plus, when you do rest for an hour or so, you wake up even groggier than when you started.
I just got my hands on Nap26, an audio CD that promises you will feel like you slept 3 hours – in only 26 minutes. Something about science and binaural beats and vibrations. I was too tired to understand but happy for an excuse to lie down for 26 minutes. Hey, it was worth a shot. I was quite suspicious when I first heard what essentially sounded like white noise, but it actually worked better than I anticipated!
