Like all parents, I care what goes into my children’s bodies. So does Revolution Foods, a mom-run company that provides 20,000 school lunches every day and also produces healthy and yummy snacks that parents won’t mind adding to their children’s lunchboxes or meals. The company doesn’t include high fructose corn syrup, trans fats or artificial ingredients in their products. Instead they pack their foods with organic fruits and whole grains.
We adore their Organic Jammy Sammy Snackable Sandwich Bars — flavors are Strawberry Jam & Peanut Butter, Grape Jelly & Peanut Butter and Apple Cinnamon & Oatmeal. At 100 – 110 calories per serving, 3 grams of fat, 10 grams of sugar, this is a snack you can feel confident about giving to your kids. Their fun Organic PopAlongs are popped whole grain snack chips made of rice, corn and oats with between 14 -16 grams of whole grain per serving. They taste delicious and come in Cheese, Original and Cinnamon flavor. The Fruit Mashups are squeezable fruit that kids will love to squeeze into their mouthes – flavors include Berry, Grape and Tropical. This is pure fruit puree and has no added sugar. Kids will be intrigued by the packaging – just open the twist-off top and suck the fruit from the foil packet.
Other products include apple sauce, raisin boxes and their own brand of jarred organic peanut butter and jelly.
Revolution Foods’ products are not affected by the Peanut Butter recall. 3% of the net revenue from the purchase of their products go to providing healthy lunches to children in schools.
