After having my daughter I decided to give swaddling a try, but I found it extremely difficult to get it right. I was horrible at using the blanket to swaddle, and had a little bit of luck with the sleepsacks that had swaddle pieces attached. Somehow her arms always got loose. Then I found Love To Dream’s solution to this problem…the  Love To Swaddle Up wrap. It is the original swaddle that allows your baby to sleep with their arms UP, and best of all it’s easy to put on and my daughters “Houdini arms” were kept inside.

The Love To Swaddle Up allows you to swaddle your baby with arms UP and legs splayed in a more natural sleeping position giving your baby access to his or her hands. Just being able to gently touch and rub their own face, or suck on their hands without restriction is key to your baby self soothing. Love To Swaddle UP baby wraps are specifically designed to help your baby quickly settle and establish and easy and peaceful sleep routine.

Other than the ease of putting it on, I liked the idea that the hands in the air design allow the baby to still access their hands. I always felt bad about swaddling because I know how much my daughter likes to suck on her hands. This was a good compromise!

I can’t say that my daughter slept necessarily BETTER while in the Love To Swaddle UP, but I can say that she was comfy and cozy and happy in it. It comes in Original, Organic and Lite which gives you different material options. It is so soft and the stretchy fabric allowed for her to move.

I love when companies think outside the box when it comes to baby items. It seems that some products just make sense and this is one of them. If you love to swaddle your baby, but aren’t happy with the more traditional ways to do it than this product is for you. A product that allows you to swaddle, and still allows your baby to self sooth is good in my book. Definitely give it a try!

I was provided with a Love To Swaddle UP for the purposes of this review. As always all thoughts and opinions are my own.
