Oilo is a new player in the nursery arena, but they are already stirring up lots of interest. Featured in Pregnancy & Newborn, babytalk, Pregnancy and on various design blogs, Oilo’s collection of bedding, lighting, furniture and wall art bring a calm, gender-neutral sophistication to your nursery and home design. While some people prefer to deck out their nursery with kid-centric colors and designs, there are those (myself included) who like the nursery to look more like a pint-sized version of the rest of my house – neutral colors, simple patterns and quality materials.

I recently had the chance to check out Oilo’s crib bedding collection in the Modern Berries design. Though pieces can be purchased separately, the three-piece crib set comes with:

a foam-filled bumper and zippered, cotton slip cover in either their Modern Berries, Cobblestone, Raindrop or Wheels design,

a fitted, striped cotton sheet, and

a solid color drop skirt (some have a contrasting white stripe on the skirt as well)

What I Love:

Color palette – in addition to their calm neutral tones, the entire Oilo bedding collection is gender neutral making it a perfect choice for parents who are holding off on finding out if their new addition is a boy or girl.

Built-in design – design is not one of my strong suits, but I love that the combination of prints, stripes and solids give parents like me lots of options for adding coordinating elements in the nursery.

Sturdy but soft – looks are all fine and dandy, but rough crib bedding just won’t do. Oilo’s 100% cotton bedding offers just as much comfort as they do style while still offering the durability and craftsmanship to last for years to come.

Machine washable! And the zipper makes the bumper slip cover a breeze to remove.

All pieces are made in the USA.

Whether you are expecting yourself or heading to a baby shower this spring for someone who is, Oilo’s collection of crib bedding is the perfect choice for creating a nursery that is serene and stylish.

Comments

  1. I was so excited when I read this. Pregnant with our second, I need new bedding since we are keeping the gender a secret and our previous bedding was very boy-centric. I love MWS, but I think prices should be mentioned a bit more often in posts. A crib bumper for $249 is outrageous, even if it is stylish.

  2. I think this web site has got very superb indited subject material articles.
