Shutterfly’s new sharing site and a giveaway – win a digital camera or gift cert.

Okay so think Facebook meets online photo service, and that will give you an abridged version of what Shutterfly’s new Sharing pages are all about. With their new service, you create a website and special “page” for your family. You can pick your url – something like thesmithfamily.shutterfly.com and you can invite your friends to join. It becomes one central location where you can upload and feature pictures of your family. The Shutterfly twist comes in because people can then order your photos. It’s a neat service and a nice way to stay organized. In the past, I’ve simply done albums that I send invites out for each new album. But this is different as it’s all in one central location, and your friends and family can visit the page anytime to check out what’s going on with you.
So Shutterfly has generously donated some fun stuff for a giveaway on Mommies with Style. The Grand Prize winner will receive a new digital camera – the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ3 with 5 MP, 6X Optical Zoom, 2-Inch. Two runner ups will receive a $25 gift code to Shutterfly to use however you see fit. (You can even use it and not pay shipping by having your photos delivered to your local Target.)
