We’ve stayed at a few Disney resorts but after most recently staying at the Disney Beach Club, I think I now have a favorite! As I mentioned earlier, Epcot is our favorite park so having a room only a few feet from the World Showcase entrance to Epcot was pretty awesome.
The view couldn’t be beat – here’s a family shot of us – you can see the Boardwalk Hotel and Boardwalk behind us (the Swan & Dolphin is in the corner right there too)
The Beach Club & the Yacht Club are next to one another and share facilities. We were on the Beach Club but walked over to the Yacht Club for the pool and some amenities like this one: one of my boys’ favorite spots, the arcade.
It was a good size and they discovered a favorite new game called Blazing Angels that my boys now want me to order one for our playroom in the basement (it’s ONLY $11,000, Mom!)
And the pool was tons of fun with a water slide & sand for the kids. On our last day there, it was SO STINKING HOT and the kids were burnt out so we skipped the parks and hung by the pool all day. We had lunch at the bar (of course) and this may be one of my favorite memories from the trip! Just chilling with my boys at the bar.
Of course had to share a picture of what Cole ordered for lunch because it’s so him. This is the Seared Tuna salad – how cute is the Mickey sauce!
Oh and I’m pretty sure that the 3 pounds I gained while down there was thanks to the Beaches and Cream Ice Cream shop. Even though I never actually ordered my own ice cream, my kids got sundaes like this one 3 days in a row so of course I had to try some each day!
Here’s a picture from Disney’s site of what our room looked like (I always forget to take a picture before we make it nice and messy!)
Sounds like the place at Disney that I would like!!!
