As usual, I’m pooped post-Mom Mixer! This past Saturday, I co-hosted the 4th Mom Mixer Events. This time we were at the beautiful Four Seasons in Philadelphia. It was a gorgeous spring day and we welcomed 150 Mom bloggers from the Philadephia/Jersey/DE & MD regions to come and interact with our brands and see what’s hot and new this spring.
As always, I could NOT do it without my business partner Colleen. Let me tell you guys, that girl GETS IT DONE. I’m so thankful to have her for us to come together and plan this incredible event.
There’s just so much that goes on behind the scenes when you plan a big event – I’d be remiss if I didn’t also mention that we’re both also forever grateful for our husbands and children who are not only beyond helpful but give us the support we need to get through it all.
This time around, we had 11 brands. Here are some fun photos to showcase what the day was like.
Here I am with two girlfriends and we’re drinking what we called the “Mom Mixer” cocktail (it was champagne, cranberry juice & orange juice – so relish!) It was the time we had what we called “big girl” drinks and everyone loved!
This photo is one of my fav from the day. Here I am with Colleen and I’m taking a bit out of Reese’s head, cuz ya know, he is a delish peanut butter cup and all. Hersheypark came with a great booth and I’m jazzed up for the summer there! Did you guys know they also have concerts at the Park? I had no idea. This summer – Bruno Mars and Bruce Springsteen. May have to take my hubby to Bruce – he loves him! We actually went to Hersheypark last year and my kids had SUCH a blast.
My boys were ALL OVER the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University table. They brought some cool dinosaur fossils and an educator from the museum who was about to tell us all in intricate detail all about each fossil. Really neat! He even brought fossilized poop, which of course was the hit with my kids!
CVS came and we always love them! They bring snacks and drinks from their Gold Emblem line and we’re huge fans in our house. They also had an amazing Sparking Lemonade and a new line of water with electrolytes added – both of which are a lot more affordable than your usual brand.
Other favorites were Kids Headquaters, who brought goodies from Under Armour and Tommy Hilfiger:
And Susan G. Komen with the 3-Day Walk which is coming to Philadelphia in September 2014:
Then Visionworks, which was giving bloggers free eye screenings to tell them whether or not they need glasses. I didn’t take the screening and should have but I know the answer would be YES, I need glasses. I haven’t been to an eye doctor in almost three years because my eye doctor sadly passed away (!) but I’m thinking I’ll check out my local Visionworks to update my prescription as there’s a new Visionworks only a mile from my house! They have in-house eye doctors and you can fill your prescription right there!
Rodan + Fields was giving all the bloggers hand massages:
And who doesn’t love coffee? McDonald’s was present having everyone taste their McCafe coffee which is brewed fresh daily and actually pretty amazing!
My friend Jen is a Stella & Dot rep and had a beautiful display of their current spring products. I ended up ordering a few items but I had to control myself from ordering more!
And Charm It! came and brought their cute charm bracelets and necklaces. This made me want a little girl! These charms are just adorable. Right now Charm It! has 25% off all orders going on so definitely check out the site and you can use coupon code CHARMLOVE25 to receive 25% off your oder!
More to come for sure but right now I wanted to spread the love a little. Thanks so much to our amazing sponsors and for all of the support from our blogging community.
It was fabulous, as always. LOVE the new location, and adult drinks definitely made it extra special. Nice touch! xo
Great day, so happy I was able to finally come to a mixer. So many great brands all willing to work with us….great opportunities for everyone.
