Stitch Fix Box #3 has arrived – hooray! I wanted to share with you what I got and what I think I’ll be keeping and not keeping. But first things first, here are some of my previous posts about Stitch Fix in case you don’t know what it is or want to check out some of my previous boxes:
Stitch Fix #1 (with explanation of what Stitch Fix is) and Stitch Fix #1 Follow-Up: What I Ended Up With
Stitch Fix #2 (with video. First 2 minutes also explain Stitch Fix so if you already know what it is, you can fast forward ahead)
So for box #3, I ended up with 5 clothing pieces. (Usually it’s 4 items of clothing and a piece of jewelry) Here they are:
This is me in 2 of the pieces. The Jeans are the Emmett Boyfriend Jeans from Kut from the Kloth $78 and the tee is the Sully Key-Hole Detailed Raglan Shirt for $58. I adore the jeans – they fit me perfectly and will most likely be keeping them. I’m not so hot on the tee – I think it doesn’t really do much for me and for $58 it’s not worth it.
I love the Maxi! It’s the Renya Racerback Striped Maxi Dress by Renee C and it’s $68.
The cropped shorts are mine so the tank is the Stitch Fix piece. I didn’t like this one either – it had potential out of the box and I thought it would be a favorite but I think it makes me look like a house. It’s the Cheryl Chevron Stripe V-Neck Tank by Laila Jayde for $38.
Last is this two-piece Gunn Solid Silk V-Neck Blouse $84 from Daniel Rainn. It’s two piece because there’s an orange cami underneath the silk blouse you see with it. This is the one I’m the most indecisive about – while I wasn’t sure about the color in the box, I love it on. It seems like it would work with so many things, jeans, a skirt, a maxi skirt, etc. But do I love it for $84?
I am keeping the maxi dress and jeans and if I keep this blouse the price would be the same for the 3 or all 5 (since you get a 25% discount if you keep everything.) What do you guys think? I’m leaning towards not keeping it.
Either way, I am still loving the Stitch Fix experience and will be ordering a 4th box soon. It’s just too fun to have someone else shop for you and the more you shop, the more they get to know your style!
By the way, if you decide to check out Stitch Fix, I am using my referral link in this post just so you know! (and thank you!) If you sign up for a box, I get a kick back credit towards future boxes if you do decide to buy anything.
Keep just the two…I actually love the raglan shirt you have on in the first post, but if it does not float your boat you probably won’t wear it. Orange is a hard color to wear, and I wonder about the care instructions involved in taking care of it.
