Part of my interest in Stitch Fix comes with the intrigue of it all. There’s excitement when I get a box on my doorstep and there’s that gleam of hope that what’s inside will be cute and perfect.
Plus, who doesn’t love having someone else shop for them? I know I do. Having a personal stylist via Stitch Fix is about as rich for my blood as I’m going to get when it comes to personal shopping.
But I’ve definitely had some misses with Stitch Fix. {Click here to see posts of my last 7 boxes.} I’ve never had a box where I’ve sent all 5 pieces back but there are a few I probably should have. Box #3 comes into mind, where I only kept a necklace and the necklace broke after a month!
Sometimes I’ll keep as many as 3 pieces so it’s been worth it. But yesterday’s box was as close to a hit as I’ve gotten so far and I’m considering keeping all 5 pieces!
When you keep all 5 pieces, you get 25% your entire order which is definitelya good deal.
So here are my 5 looks. I love feedback.
#1: This is the PixleyOhara Faux Wrap Tie-Waist Wrap ($68). The price is right for a wrap dress and I absolutely adore the print and color! It’s definitely a different cut and color to the other wrap dresses I have in my closet and I wear a TON of dresses like this in the summer so it’s a win!
#2 Do I really need another maxi skirt? God knows I have a ton of them in my closet. But then again, a maxi dress or skirt is pretty much my staple wardrobe in the summer and I do love this one! This is the Renee C Marilyn Mix Striped Maxi Skirt ($58) and in terms of price, I get most of my maxi skirts from Target so this is a teeny bit more but I can also tell it’s a nicer quality. The cloth is thicker without being too much heavier and it’s a general all-play in terms of color.
So this is the Market & Spruce Sam Hi-Lo Short Sleeve Tee ($44) and when I pulled this one out, I was all, no-way-no-how to a $44 seemly unexciting gray tee. But then I put it on. I want you guys to see the back design which is one of the reasons I really like it:
Fun cut, right? I know the longer back is definitely the style with most shirts these days but there was something I really liked about this one on. It falls just right.
Plus something I can’t get across in a blog post or video: the feel of the fabric. So incredibly soft and comfortable. I will wear this out and can obviously dress it up but I can also see wearing it with a pair of yoga pants at home and being perfectly content.
This is the LA MODE Nalli Knit Top ($74.00) and this is my least favorite in the box. In fact, if I were to pick the items I want to keep, I would send this one back because I do NOT think it’s worth $74. But. If I were to send it back, I would OWE $4 because I get $78 with the discount if I purchase all 5. So I’ll most likely keep it. I do think it’s nice that it’s 3/4 length sleeves and might be a good causal shirt for the fall. It just didn’t WOW me and the price point was a negative.
My all-that-and-a-bag-of-chips item in the box is thisSoko Malvina Triangle Lariat Necklace ($68).I can see myself wearing this a ton with a variety of outfits. I do happen to have a jewelry-purchasing addiction lately so I don’t even know where I will hang yet another necklace but I can’t resist.
What do you guys think? I welcome all feedback, positive or negative! These Stitch Fix boxes are so fun to get but I also love seeing other friends styling their own Stitch Fix boxes too.

That dress is PERFECT!!! I swear we are living parallel lives at the moment. You’re getting a herding dog, we both just discovered the joy of adult coloring and last night I finally signed up for stitch fix! haha
On and I love that last top but for $74, damn!!!
okie doaks-here goes: dress : a win! love it:color, fit, a definite.
maxi skirt- not my choice -looks like too much fabric-but that’s a personal preference.
grey tee-very nice!
Nalli top- I do think it’s a win- not sure for that price tho.
necklace-cute-for $68? hmmm, not so sure it’s that cute.
bottom line- LOVE, love, love the dress! (grey tee, too). . . . . .and your partner model nice too
I go that maxi skirt a few months ago and I LOVE it. I like that it is really flow-y. Also, at first I didn’t want to pay that much, since I too like to buy stuff at Target for less, but the quality really does seem better and it’s made in the USA. I don’t mind paying more for clothes made here where labor is more expensive.
