My skin tone has changed. Is that possible? I have a new winter face that I’ve never had before. It’s pale for sure, but not quite as pale as I normally am. And it’s just a different shade than it used to be. Old age? Or maybe it’s my new You’re-Pushing-40 face. Either way, the normal foundations and tinted moisturizers i had used in the past weren’t working as well as they used to.
On a recent trip to Sephora, I found an assistant and she introduced me to Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Foundation ($38, Sephora.com). It’s a thicker foundation that I’m used to and I wasn’t sure I would like it, but the color was *perfect* for me. (Light-Medium. In case anyone’s curious!)
Now that I’ve been using it for awhile, I’ve come to love it – the main reason being, it’s so long lasting! It really does last all day long and it provides such a nice even coverage. It goes on really lightly too which is great (nobody likes a thick foundation that cakes on!)
