“I am grateful for what I am and have. My thanksgiving is perpetual.” -Henry David Thoreau
Thanksgiving is right around the corner! These two quick crafts will add some festivity to your table.
Turkey Name Tag
What You Need:
leaves
gold metallic spray paint
gold glitter
mod podge
ribbon
hot glue
First, use a knife to cut into the cork to be able to stick the paper in it. Then using mod podge , cover the bottom of the corks in glitter (this helps stabilize the name tag). Next, use white paper and cut them into circles adding the names the center.
Using the extra white paper cut tiny feather-like pieces to add to the circles. Color them in and glue them to the back of the name tags to create a turkey. This craft adds a fun twist to assigning seats for Thanksgiving.
Gold Leaves
What You Need:
corks
gold glitter
mod podge
white paper
colorful markers
glue
First, collect leaves from outside and spray paint them with gold spray paint. Then take some mod podge and gold glitter and decorate the leaves as you please.
Let the leaves dry before hot gluing them onto a gold ribbon. This craft is affordable, easy, and quick but can add a sophisticated touch to your Thanksgiving table.
