I recently attended Toy Fair 2010 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. There were so many great products shown, from big and small companies.

Kidkraft seriously blew me away. We were already big fans of their Hannukah Set (my cousin bought it for my son 2 years ago). Kidkraft makes some terrific wood items. From wooden pirate ship playsets (see above), to firehouse sets, play kitchens and religious sets (they have many Jewish and a couple of Christian sets) — their toys are all terrific quality. The company was also promoting  personalization on benches, toy kitchens, and fabric-covered chairs. You can add your child’s name and choose a graphic.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic ALEX Toys had an impressive amount of new products. Their Ready, Set, Go Trike is a tricycle that grows with your child, from older baby to preschooler. Comes in red and pink. While their trampoline isn’t new (there’s  younger child size and a older child size), it was terrific and very sturdy. I loved their many craft kits – especially the Color My Bag line. They’ve even got Shrinky Dinks!

  1. I’m not familiar with Kidkraft but I love wooden toys so I’m going to check them out for sure. I love the little table and chair sets that can be personalized and the retro kitchens are adorable! Thanks for sharing.

  2. We began offering KidKraft items when we created our store back in 2003. They have a great corporate culture and we’ve become good friends with many of the people. Each year they come up with awesome new items that parents love. Their table & chair sets are great sellers as are the fabulous wood kitchens. We really love the fact the KidKraft offers a great selection of products that are good quality and affordable. Whether its a toybox, step stool or upholstered chair, we think Mommies with Style will find a KidKraft product they’ll like.

  3. What else would we like to have here? Seems like toys get better and better as life goes on and we keep getting older!!! I love sitting down and playing toys with my kids, they absolutely love it 🙂
