I’m the Homeroom Mom for my son’s 4th grade class. Last week, we went and did some Valentine’s Day bag decorations. I had a ton of leftover stickers and ribbons.
Then I saw this Pin on Pinterest. It links to a Babble article that has 10 Crafts “for Toddlers,” but I was particularly interested in this Accordion Folded Spring Flower Collage on Makes and Takes, which seemed good for all ages! I pinned it thinking it would be a cute craft to do with my boys in the spring.
I remembered it later when I was on Pinterest and thought, hey, I could use these leftover Valentine’s stickers and make it a Valentine’s themed Flower Collage!
Here’s what you need:
* Cardboard. I used a cereal box, I cut it up and folded it.
* A variety of items for the stems. I used leftover red ribbons, some sticker ribbons and straws.
* Paper or construction paper for the flowers.
* Whatever else you have leftover that you could use to decorate with!
* Glue Gun
Get creative, go crazy! My kids and I had a blast doing this and it’s currently up on our mantle looking like a cute Valentine’s Day decoration. And all with leftovers!
Pinspiration is a weekly series I do on Tuesdays with 3 other fabulous bloggers. We take one pin we saw that week and recreate it – it can be beauty, a recipe, fitness-related or pretty much just about anything! It gives us an excuse to try something new. We have a linky below where you can join in too – we’d love to have you! Try it next week – what inspires you on Pinterest? Try it! Post about it and let us know how it went!
