I’ve spent the last month testing the Verizon Palm® Pre Plus and I am very impressed with what it can do!
Hands down, my absolute favorite feature is the camera. I love taking pictures and recording videos on it. Since I carry it with me everywhere, I can take videos and pictures and instantly upload them to Twitter, facebook, as well as email to friends and family. Since my mother has been in Florida all winter, one way we stay close is my emailing pictures and videos of my two children.
Uploading photos and videos to my laptop is a breeze, I just attach the included USB cable (just pulling the charger plug off). Then I can post them to YouTube for easy broadcasting — which is what I did to show my mother my son’s school dance show recently.
Additional Features I liked:
- The easy-to-use touchscreen , which is a breeze to use.
- I liked when you take the phone from your ear to hang up, the screen lights up and you can touch the screen to end your call.
Features that could be improved:
- Apple’s iTunes’ has more apps than the Palm App Catalog. There needs to be a better choice of apps for preschoolers (they only have 6 now). I also wasn’t impressed with the Twitter apps (would love to be able to access TweetDeck).
- The battery seems to drain very quickly, so purchasing an additional charger, PowerMat, or a car charger is a must.
Verizon supplied me with the new Palm Pre Plus and are paying for 1 month of service, including internet access. No other compensation was received. All opinions expressed are my own.
I think diferrent because my family use another company .It’s relaxing and save prices.But next laptop battery I am going to consider this to be this laptop battery that you just present.Appreciate!!!
Hi, Each time I add a web-page to my Favorites in IE8, it is added end of it of the already existing list. Allow me to sort them by name*manually. But I’d like IE8 to do this automatically. Could this be done ? Thanks
