Last week I was up in Manhattan for my 4th BlogHer and 2nd Blogger Bash. Both are fabulous blogging conferences/events and they happened to overlap this year.

There’s always an insane amount of events whenever you get a bunch of social media influencers into one city together. In my 3-4 days in New York City, I’ll generally not have a free minute. From lunch dates with clients to dinners or evening parties with all my favorite blogger peeps, it’s a whirlwind. And one of my favorite things about it:I love the excuse to get some new clothes and to dress up.

Thought I’d share with you guys a couple of my outfits from last week. This first one ended up being my favorite:

I got both the shirt and the pants brand new at Banana Republic days before I left. I swear that company needs to hire me one of these days, they are pretty much my go-to most of the time. The top is the V-Neck Popover Blouse ($74.50) and the pants were on super sale and I paid like $35 for them – woo! They don’t seem to be available online but they are the same cut and design as these Sloan-Fit Textured Black Slim Ankle Pants ($98). The yellow wedges are also from Banana Republic a couple of years ago and they are probably the wedge heels I wear the most.

Right now Banana Republic has 40% off all purchases when you use coupon code BRINSTANT.

For jewelry I’m wearing the Rebel Pendent in Gold from Stella & Dotand my arm candy is a bunch of stacked Alex & Ani bracelets.

I did a lot of walking the day I wore this next outfit:

The white capris were actually from Old Navy a few years ago. They no longer have them but they sell these White Denim Cuffed Bermudas (on sale for $12.50!)and these Low-Rise Rockstar Skinny Jeans ($34.94)

And onneeee more just for fun. This was at Sweet Suite at Blogger Bash and I’m trying on some fun with my friend Melissa:

The tutus and extra girly fun comes from Just Pretend Toys, a company that sells gorgeous costumes. They also have a kickstarter campaign for their children’s party in a box where you order and get a costume and all the goodies needed to throw the perfect party.Order a box and it comes with everything you need for a party from costumes to goody bags.

You weren’t expecting THAT from my What I Wore Fashion Friday post, huh!
