I originally ordered this dress from Nordstrom for our trip to Marco Island last month. But in the end, I didn’t pack it because my suitcase was kind of full, and I remembered that we like to keep it pretty casual when we’re down there. I made a last minute decision and left it at home.

So this dress almost went back to Nordstrom even though I liked it, since I wasn’t sure what I would wear it to. Then I remembered we had a daytime Bar Mitzvah to go to! We went on Saturday and it was a pretty chilly day so I was actually happy to have the longer coverage of the dress.

Here’s a link to the dress, it’s the Scarf Print Jersey Eliza J Dress

For jewelry, I also splurged and paired the dress with the Kendra Scott – Mystic Bazaar Candice Wide Cuff (below) and this Kendra Scott -Aiden Pendant(above)

She also has the Addie Drop earrings to match too but I went with studs.

And since it was like 10 degrees out and I knew my toes couldn’t handle open-toe, I wore my trusty White House Black Market Olivia Pumps, which are my favorite pair of pumps out of all my shoes. They’re just really versatile and they’re also super comfortable. (Although I did kick them off and put socks on to dance after a few drinks!)

I thought it all worked out nicely! We’re Catholic so it’s not every day we go to a Bar Mitzvah but it was really a ton of fun & the skirt made for great fun on the dance floor later in the day. Mazel Tov to Jack – your parents sure know how to throw a good party!
